Elukami is a temporary body art that is a sacred and CLOSED newer tradition created by Soulaan/Black American people FOR Soulaan/Black American people. Elukami hand art is typically made with juaga & blue indigo powder to pay homage to all the ancestors that worked in the fields to harvest Indigo, however, it is open to ALL Soulaan people. Elukami includes symbols from our culture including but not limited to: Underground Railroad Symbols, Face Jugs and more.
